Party in the Park announces final headline charity

Apr 11, 2022 • 2 min read

The newly established charity, Stortford Heroes, joins Grove Cottage, Centre Algarve, and Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank as headline charity for the summer music festival, Party in the Park.

ITVET’s new charity, Stortford Heroes, is dedicated to investing in the community and supporting charity partners such as Grove Cottage and Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank.

The charity has a few initiatives already in the pipeline including a community fridge. The new fridge will operate in a similar way to a network of other fridges around the UK dedicated to reducing food waste and empowering communities. According to Hubbub, 34 million meals are saved from going to waste annually across the network of 500 fridges.

CEO of ITVET Ltd, Richard Fountain, said: “We’re extremely proud to have set up Stortford Heroes charity to help support our local community. We already have some great community initiatives in the pipeline that we’re really excited about. As a local business, we believe it’s important to give back to our community and this is one of the key values that we’ve built our company upon.

“The Party in the Park music festival will help us raise awareness of local charities and drive forward with our future community initiatives.”

Stortford Heroes: Party in the Park takes place on Saturday 16th July 2022 at Sworders Field, Bishop’s Stortford. It’s a fun day out for all the family with live entertainment, face painting, food stalls, and much more.

Tickets are free, but a minimum charity donation of £1 is required to secure them. They’re available now at: https://www.stortfordheroes.co.uk/.
